Linear Fragments . . . Earthbound of Dune & Alabaster
--
This piece explores the quiet transition between raw earth and open sky. The heavy, textured horizontal bands descend from soft off-white tones into deep, rich ochre and sienna, echoing the natural layering of desert terrain, stone cliffs, and soil strata. White negative space divides each textured strip, transforming rugged impasto strokes into a refined, minimalist geometric composition.
